This is a little out of order, but here are some 4th of July highlights. We went up to Show Low to participate in the hometown parade. Papa Jim and Grammy Tesie drove the Hot Rod and the grandkids rode in back. The little boys were decked out as Uncle Sam and the little ones were in red, white and blue. Even Louisa at 4 months old rode in the parade! The Dads: Mike, Rylan and Rhett walked behind the Hot Rod group handing out candy. We bought bags and bags of it at Costco and still managed to run out before the end of the parade.

Overall, it was an absolute riot with candy flying all over and the girls making sure everyone stayed upright as Papa weaved through the parade route revving his engine to show off the "horsies under the hood."

To the left are the stars of the show. The rest of the day was spent swimming in the pond, taking naps to recover from the busy morning at the parade, and of course eating!
